We did just that in the UK after the Dunblane massacre. We outlawed handguns quickly. Anerica should be following our lead, but ut cant because of the blane-shifting GOP who refuse to act on gun control.

It's so true. Back then the United States was mostly wildnerness, and a fragile nation with Britain and France to the north and Spain to the South and west. But, with the might if America's armed forces, the 2A is no longer needed in that respect.
