54 years ago today, LBJ signed Medicare into law, guaranteeing health care to people 65 and older. At the time it was called "socialist" by opponents. Half a century later it is still incredibly popular. When we are in the White House, we will expand Medicare to ALL.

This is exactly why Republicans and CEOs are so hostile to Medicare For All. Medicare was hated - at first. Obamacare was hated - at first. Now, people get angry when anyone talks about taking either away. The same will happen with Medicare For All.
