We’ve actually seen lower rates of inflation in studies of Universal Basic Income. High housing demand is high housing demand, though, and for many, housing has gone up as opportunities have decreased. UBI will increase interstate mobility and lower housing demand

It's even more complex than that. More current renters will be able to buy, opening up new rentals. No more housing vouchers let people enter different markets and take away restrictions on living with other people.
