Fact: pharmaceuticals are expensive because of government intervention. Bernie's solution is to intervene more.
It will take political courage and a mass movement of people, but the bottom line is: we do not have to tolerate that one in five adults in America cannot afford their prescriptions while pharmaceutical company CEOs make millions.

My home is in foreclosure when I was making over $78k before getting sick. I schedule appointments based on finances. I’m getting worse everyday from lack of proper care. My insurances CEO was in the top 3 salaries.
That matters to me.

I have an idea, why don’t you ask Congress to cut their pay by 6% you will then be able to help out others that you care so much about. Congress make a donation for those who can’t afford their medication. Bernie, you be the leader, the ball starts rolling with your 6% cut.

He's advocated for years to raise taxes on the wealthy which would result in members of congress paying more.
