When I was homeless, I didn't have $30 at any given time. Medicine is a human right and should cost ZERO for everybody at all times in all circumstances.

Anything essential to human survival--shelter, food, clothing, medicine, education, water--must be 100% free and based on need. It's the radical notion that every single human being is of equal value to every other human being. No one is disposable.

Here in Slovenia insulin is covered by basic medical insurance that every citizen has by default. I'm always baffled that great nation of US doesn't have that.

My 18yo son was diagnosed with t1d about a month ago 3 weeks after graduating HS w/ honors, we thought he had the flu, ended up in ICU and almost died from DKA His life DEPENDS on insulin His insulin is $1200/mo in US THE EXACT SAME (US) INSULIN is $138/mo in Canada WTF?
