No teacher in America should be paid less than $60,000 a year.

They do. $36,000 for 215 days of work.

My husband is a teacher, works before and after school hours on lesson plans, grading, etc. He also works on preparing to teach his very difficult high school math and science courses during his “so-called” 10 weeks off in the summer. 1/2

So do a lot of people who work all year who make nearly the same. And tell teachers to generate billions of dollars of revenue then they can share in the spoils.

11. Disdain for Intellectuals & the Arts - Fascist nations tend to promote & tolerate open hostility to higher education, & academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts and letters is openly attacked.
