Have we qualified the "equal work" part? Because the figure you're quoting is over all jobs and doesn't account for the proportions of demographics in those different jobs, only the salaries/wages. McDonalds burger flippers and CEOs are all in the same basket. It's deceptive.

Sick of this argument. Talent is equally distributed but opportunity isn’t. If it were, 50% of CEOs would be women. And careers that are traditionally held by women. like preschool teachers, wouldn’t be lower paid than traditionally held male jobs w/similar skill levels

Nice job pandering to your brainless fans while ignoring the reality that males and females, as a whole, make different choices about field, sub-field, and lifestyle choices, therefore creating the entire "gap" you allude to.
