Still rather have a child here with our medical system.

Why? 6.1 infant mortality rate vs. Finland's 2.3 We're paying more for less
-
Population of 5 mil people vs 300+ stats are skewed
-
Compare EU with US then ...
-
That wasn’t the statement.
-
Across the EU it's 3.2 compared with US 6.1. 500m v 350m ... Skewer those stats
-
Well I was clearly simplifying that population was the cause but there are tons of reasons. Twitter just isn’t the mechanism for multi point debate in my opinion
-
Keep on twisting that strawman to avoid any serious debate! Way to go, man!

I’m in Canada, and I think I paid $60 for parking. I also took 6 months, 10/10, would recommend it
-
Where TF did you park for $60? The moon?
-
Lol. Come to NYC...60 sounds GREAT
-
I was gonna say that sounds like one day of all day parking downtown

The Fins have 4% poverty. We have 15%. They also don’t pay health insurance premiums, high copays, public utilities are cheaper, cellphone bills are cheaper, college has no tuition, so they don’t have students loans. I may take more home in a paycheck, but I spend more on living.

Finland is not a socialist system. A regulated capitalism does not equal socialism.
-
Americans think they have regulated capitalism.
Basically Finland is very heavily socialized. What to call it depends on where you grew up.
I grew up in the US. I go between Sweden and the US and consider
to be heavily socialized as well. Definitely prefer it. -
They actually aren’t socialized. For instance Norway doesn’t have a minimum wage standard, but they do have worker unions that negotiate wages. Our country works against unions and keeps wages artificially low.
