She has a very sad story, yet she created the problem with her careless vote. Anyone who was interested knew what Trump was. At least she learned her lesson, which puts her ahead of many of the morons who still suck at his teet.

People were given a choice between status quo and a game show host promising to improve lives. Given that, I can't fault anyone who supported Trump--least of all, those now waking up to the fact he lied. They wanted to believe beyond belief he would be a good "different."
-
I've been aware of what Trump is for about 25 years. Anyone who wasn't, wasn't paying attention. He made his 'fortune' by lying, stealing and cheating, and now he has added sadism to the package. Just his rant against Rosie O'Donnell should have been enough to clue people in.
-
Agreed, Trump is a snake oil salesman. But he literally went around the Rust Belt promising to "bring back jobs" while HRC was boasting about how "America is already great." Some were more willing to throw the orange brick through the window of the establishment and hope he'd pay
-
When you are at the bottom, you will vote for volatility, because your downside is covered. Nowhere to go but up. They knew it was likely Trump was lying, but on the off chance he wasn't.
-
This was only for a small % tho. Most ppl liked that he was pure spite, but a few just rolled the dice. And it was enough. 110k votes in the Rust Belt is way less than 1%
-
Not to mention the Rust Belt was gutted by policies like NAFTA which the Clintons supported.
-
Yeah really it was NAFTA. Enough ppl were turned off by that to swing it

The architecture of the Federal Job Guarantee is well thought-out! It takes into account the availability of real resources and the needs of communities. It can be federally funded through transfer payments. It could be created tomorrow!

Here is a good overview of the
#JobGuarantee program for those who might be unfamiliar with the concept: "Federally funded, locally organized: an affordable job guarantee program" via@GISP_Tweetshttp://www.global-isp.org/working-paper-no-108/ … -
Thanks for that link!

Yes. If by devastating you mean lower Unemployment, lower taxes, and higher wages. still fewer lakefront vacation homes though.

All those stats are complete red herrings - when those "new jobs" are below living wage, undignified, insecure, uncertain, that stat is meaningless (&for other reasons). Low taxes...? the vast majority of cuts went to the wealthy.
-
Most Americans saw no difference other than an increase in their health insurance & a buck a week. Yet they'll be paying for the wealthy's multibillion$ break down the line. & no, wages remain stagnant&out of step w/inflation. Dunno why I'm replying to an NPC, tbh.

Oh but what about the 10% tax cut for the middle class before the midterms and while congress isn’t in session?
-
Of course, he just sprung that last night, and I’m pretty sure she will vote for R’s again.

The 1% keep getting richer while the rest of us struggle.
-
I'm not 1% and I'm not struggling, you must be the 3% that's not working. Stop being lazy and expecting handouts. Do something for yourself and stop crying to the 96% of the Americans that are working and asking them to give you more free money...damn bums
-
>expecting handouts shall I remind you of how Trump gave a handout to farmers cause of his OWN economy?
