Yes the voter turn out will be so much different. Republican's are so motivated by: 1. Character assassination of Kavanaugh 2. Open borders, sanctuary cities and caravans of illegals. 3. The call for being uncivil and get into the face of opponents.
Lol @ the NPC sign in the background
It’s just mystifying that so many people actually believe that Socialism has anything good to offer the USA in the long term.
Last year, the only yard signs were for you. And they were everywhere - in red, blue, and purple counties. Every Republican I know (and I know a lot) liked you. A lot of them voted for you in the open primary.
On the other hand, there were practically no signs for Hillary or Trump. It was very noticeable. So, is it altogether surprising that voting was way down in the general election? Uninspired voters don't always vote...
Many Bernie voters didn't like Hillary. Some percentage (maybe 30%?) of Bernie people voted for Trump.
Most Bernie voters didn't like Hillary. However, it doesn't follow that they voted for Trump. While quite a lot of people said that, I've seen absolutely no data supporting it.
Actually, I should clarify. I've seen no data that Democrat leaning supporters of Bernie voted for Trump. I have ample anecdotal evidence that Republican leaning supporters of Bernie did vote for Trump.
By choosing Hillary for the general, Democrats lost all of the crossover conservative voters. This makes sense - polls prior to the election had Bernie beating Trump by double digits but Hillary by single digits.
