I’ve had cancer twice and have rheaumatoid disease. I’m Canadian and have never spent a dime other than hospital parking. Don’t let anyone fool you into thinking it wouldn’t be a great thing for Americans.

Yes you have. Your dimes are paid in taxes to big government.
-
I may pay it in taxes but I’ll never grow broke paying for my health.
-
I won't either and I get to choose my foot and facility.
-
Then I’m happy for you. But very sad for those who won’t. I have the satisfaction of knowing every Canadian has a right to healthcare without wondering how they’ll pay for it.
-
Canada doesn't have our infrastructure or population. 50% of US citizens don't pay income tax. Bernie's plan had been proven unsustainable.
-
No but you’ve actually made my point. If Canada can do it with 36 million people how could you not? With the wealth of the U.S even those lovely tax cuts for the rich could have paid for it.

There are countries in this world where things are different and better with respect to healthcare. Please learn from countries like Denmark or The Netherlands. Good examples are available.
-
Honestly I like the idea of Medicare for all, just need to see a bill that would work.
-
So try to dig in how we do this in The Netherlands. You can do this as well in the US as you want, leading to better care and accordable

Someone please show Carrie how to use Google ... it's a useful thing. Any computer-literate six-year-old will be happy to help her, I'm sure.https://berniesanders.com/issues/how-bernie-pays-for-his-proposals/ …

Thanks for the tip

We give how much to Israel? How much is being spent in the Middle East? But no money for healthcare ? What's going on?
#NotRocketScience -
Exactly. This country is going backwards.
-
Not to mention that Israel *does* have Universal Health Care while we shovel money into that murderous apartheid state...

Other countries think were crazy for paying so much. Even right wing individuals in those countries would never get rid universal healthcare. Here, all Republicans have to do is say "that's socialism " and all hell breaks loose.pic.twitter.com/2sMjYO6s3t
