Many other nations don't have high quality health care either. Most countries with universal health care aren't taking in over a million immigrants every year. How many countries with successful universal health care have a population of over 300 million people?

Many other nations don't have the wealth we have either. Lame excuse.
-
So we are supposed to bankroll the UN, police the world, be the natural disaster ATM, donate billions in aid, and have money left over to provide over 300 million people with world class health care? Exactly how much "wealth" do you assume we have?
-
We "police the world" because we want to. How about we stop doing that?
-
How about Europe stop asking for military aid? How about Africa and the middle east stop asking for humanitarian aid? How about the entire world stop asking for natural disaster aid? See how easy that sounds? Easier said than done. I don't see France, England or Germany helping
-
So we just can't say no to other countries, but we'll say no to our own people? See how dumb THAT sounds? What military aid are we sending to Europe? Our big expenditures are in the Middle East where we CONSTANTLY meddle because we want the oil.
-
LoL you're right. Nobody asks us for help. We just shove our money down their throats. My apologies.
-
We sure shove our “ democracy” down their throats, we meddle, start wars, create refugees etc etc etc

We have universal health care in the UK & have had it for 70 years since 1948. So Trump, why can't the richest country in the world afford it ? Even Cuba has free healthcare !
-
Yeah, we’ve heard about your UHC. Has quite the reputation....https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.forbes.com/sites/sallypipes/2018/10/01/u-k-s-healthcare-horror-stories-ought-to-curb-dems-enthusiasm-for-single-payer/amp/ …

As you voted Trump, I assume you are awaiting psychiatric help. You must feel angry that you have been let down by Traitor Trump ?

And, the Canadians come to the US to get better health care!!!.
-
My healthcare has been wonderful, maybe try doctors that don’t run you through like the mill with government healthcare, try paying for your own healthcare and maybe you’ll get better quality doctors.
-
I'm a doctor. We know what we're talking about. Kudos to you, but because you have resources to buy a great health plan doesn't mean the rest of America can. That's what the Canadian and Eeuropean plans are about, they're not selfish, they care for each other. As a doctor, I care

I see she had no response to this. Hilarious.

The Lord said this "give to those in need". But the government taking from me is not me giving freely. Forcing me to give isn't giving it's taking. Help the needy yes, but taking from me to hand to the lazy NO.
-
How is facing catastrophic illness lazy?
-
We already have Medicare and Medicaid for that dont we. I already pay taxes for it even though I have never and may never have to use it. Not that i would qualify for it anyways. Also why is the collective responsible for your "catastrophic illness?"
#askingforafriend -
Medicare for over 65; Medicaid for poor. What about the middle class facing cancer or heart bypass. We collectively pay for education, firefighters, police, military, roads, libraries and many other examples.
-
The game is rigged. It leans very much in favor of the super rich. But in this country people who need help usually dont get turned away because of lack of money. We are very lucky to live here. It seems to me that the left always has something to complain about.
