It is not acceptable that the top 1% of the world’s population owns half the planet’s wealth, while the bottom 70% of the working age population accounts for just 2.7% of global wealth.

When the top 1% stop employing the bottom 70% and paying 100% of their income, then you can talk.

I clearly disagree. Quit your job and start a business, become one of the top 1%, then tell me your $ needs to be distributed.

We all live in society and we all have social responsibility. WHY is the top 1% not paying better their workers, instead of keeping them on poverty level? Are they proud of that? Where is the respect and dignity for every human being?

Our rigged system is generating massive amounts of concentrated wealth but not massive amounts of value to human life. That is a real big problem.

Well put: "value to human life"! No homeless, no hungry children, no poor people - THAT would make a rich society! Let's abolish poverty in the USA. There is enough $$$ for every human being. Let's increase the value of human life! Greed=Cancer in society!

How much is enough? How much should each person get? Please tell me what the plan here is. And, where does it come from? Is it a 1 timne payment or life-time? Do they have to do anything for it or is it just a gift?

There should be a mandate for Corporations to pay workers enough money so that they don't need government assistance. How about we start from there.

Maybe that’s because 70% of the planet is oppressed by dictatorial or tyrannical govts that aren’t protecting their property and civil rights...sounds like we need more capitalism, not less!

Not so sure about that. I am sure Clinton wouldn't have been rolling back environmental regulations right and left, or appointing right wing judges to SCOTUS that won't uphold worker's rights.

Those are the ways that I agree she would have been better. However, she wouldn't have been pushing for a living wage or Medicare for all. She's very much in the pocket of Wall Street.

I think she would have worked toward expanding access to healthcare and also raising wages. Bernie talks about Medicare for all but doesn't seem to have a workable plan to pay for it.

Untrue. There is a bill and loads of evidence ( GAO, CBO, independent experts and conservative orgs like RAND)that Medicare for all is more cost effective for people and the nation. Also would provide for better health and of course with much more fairness.
