I also want to congratulate @JamesThompsonKS, Wesley Bell in Missouri, and @RashidaTlaib in Michigan. Their victories are important milestones for this nation. The struggle continues.

Hi, Michigan voter & volunteer here
If you really cared about the Democratic Party you would have *actually* joined it & put in the work ages ago... now we have Trump for your hubris. Show your support for Our Choice @gretchenwhitmer or Peace. Out. of the mitten Forever
thx -
Party loyalty is overrated.
-
you sound young.
-
Ah we’re the same age... I guess I expect people that lived through the Bush/Gore/Nader fiasco to not be as quick to write off the value of unity when faced with the terrifying consequences. It affected everyone differently, I guess.
-
Or some just know that more dems voted for bush in Florida than Nader took in votes. Nader was a scapegoat, the same thing frustrated dems do with Green voters now. and the cycle just continues, and along comes Trump. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.
-
Dems voting for Bush is also a great argument for the value of party loyalty
-
Yes, you can yell party loyalty. You can even shame them for voting as they do, although I am not sure history shows either of these to be very successful. Or you can do the rational thing and ask, why did they vote that way? The latter might prove to be more productive.

Why don't you support the people that beat those two you selfish bastard! You continue to divide for your own selfish gains. Fuck off.
-
Gretchen Whitmer and Sharice Davids didn’t ask Bernie to endorse them.
-
Doesn't stop him from throwing his support behind them as they go up against Republicans. AOC didn't get his endorsement and as soon as she won he got involved with her.
-
AOC had volunteered for Bernie Sanders in 2016, and so that was a different situation.
-
Not really. It's not a secret that democrats are trying to retake congress. He has the time and money to intervene for his choice in elections across the country but can't find the time or money to support democrats going up against Republicans. It doesn't seem to matter to him
-
All I ask is that if we fail to take back congress, his supporters shouldn't sit around and argue that Bernie did all he could to keep traitorous GOP out of office like in 2016, because he isn't. He's made his priorities clear.

democracy does not host revolutions, it supports evolution. Revolution is what groups do to overthrow the current system of governance, which in the US currently is democracy (although dissipating fast.) Change you language or take a hike.
