I was happy to support you in the 2016 caucuses, which you won in my state of Colorado, but I put my support behind Hillary when she became the nominee. Given the circumstances we find ourselves in re: Trump, I think you should use your influence to promote unity in November.

I think we should all make our thoughts known in the primaries and agree to let the best candidate win and unify behind whoever they may be. Any Democrat will be better than a republican this election cycle but I would prefer a progressive one :)

What about
@sharicedavids? A Native American? -
Enough with identity politics, Sharice isn’t nearly progressive enough for the Democrats of Kansas and we’re seeing that tonight, with Brent Welder ahead by about 9 points! Enough with the status quo’!
-
Nope - Sharice Davids is progressive enough for Kansas voters! A decisive victory.

I prefer to let qualified women take the lead, thanks. They won’t dismiss identity politics so cavalierly. And it would be great to have a Native American woman in Congress, right?
@sharicedavids -
Does her heritage make her a better candidate or is it just another checked box?
-
Your question is disingenuous and fundamentally racist. I believe I referred to qualified, no? Go peddle your nonsense elsewhere.

Identity politics gave us Trump
-
No, racism gave us Trump. So-called identity politics is going to deal with his supporters after Mueller deals with him.

Brent only moved to Kansas to run on the Bernie Bro platform-so no, will not be voting for him
-
Yeah because the other guy who had his campaign paid for by Wallstreet will do such a better job of representing your interests.

I live in Ks 03 and am super salty that
@BrentWelder@sharicedavids are in the same primary. Glad to be in a district that is putting out two awesome candidates. -
They are both great. But only
@BrentWelder has refused corporate $. That means he’s walking the walk and is accountable ONLY to his constituents. But Democracy is for all. Vote your conscience, wherever it may lead you.
