considering single payer would take the burden off businesses, why haven't we brought big and small businesses on board to support this?

My insurance provider, United, stole all our premium money and gave away 2.7billion to share holders every year. A government run program does not pay out dividends === all that money would stay in the program and lower overall costs to us. How do you not get that?

To all the people asking where the money is… My question to you is this how much are you paying for your health care now? How much is your employer paying for your health care now? How much are you paying for your employees health care now?

US government pays more per capita than our UK govt, where everyone is covered - so you guys pay like we do through taxation, we’ll, MORE than we do, but you’re not all covered. AND you THEN pay insurance. So private costs you double.
