Hopefully people now realize voting is a duty not to be taken lightly unfortunately because of the choice of many who sat out in 2014 were about to suffer generational consequences

2014 and 2016.
-
Don't forget the midterms of 2010 (census year) when Bernie told people not to vote because his fee fees were hurt over the new healthcare law.
-
Too many people sat on their butts and now we will paid for that decision We can’t do anything about that know but we’ve gotta make our voice heard on Nov Bernie points was we can’t underestimate the importance of voting in the Mid terms
-
I'm a voter who hasn't missed a vote in over 40 years. If Bernie had told people to stay home during the midterms of 2010 we'd be progressing further along instead of being gerrymandered to our eyeballs. I really hope people understand that this November is bigger than anything!
-
Too many people didn’t show up for Hillary that’s why were in the mess were in now Jim Comeys statement on October 28 2016 was the death nail in her campaign w/o I believe she would’ve won the election but it shouldn’t have been close

This is rich coming from the guy who sat out voting during the entire Civil Rights Era and Viet Nam. Bernie didn't care if Nixon won or Goldwater, he didn't bother to vote til he was 40 and could vote for himself.pic.twitter.com/ZOeCRRstiV

Seriously. The dude did everything he could to assure that young voters bought the GOP smear that Clinton wasn't pure enough, and that Dems and Repubs are the same. He freaking made this mess and now pretends only he can fix it. How trumpish. He needs to go knit forever

Thanks for the heads-up, Bernie. By 40 I had voted in at least 22 elections, including primaries, and I never, even once, voted for myself. You?

Senator, we need to move elections to Sunday’s instead of Tuesday. I can guarantee more people will vote...for a lot of people Tuesday’s are becoming inconvenient due to work.
-
Election Day is set by statute. Switching to Sunday will be a direct infringement on religious liberty; right to assemble & worship. Big conflict right there and religious organizations will sue in a heartbeat.
-
Okay, then make it a national holiday so people can vote.
