You don’t understand the market and the factors at play here. Not trying to be rude, but it isn’t economic terrorism for a group of redditors to do something totally legal (buy shares in a stock) just because it hurts hedge funds who were doing something illegal (naked shorting).

Simply put: Naked shorting = illegal Purchasing shares in a company you feel is “over shorted” and “under valued” because you anticipate an impending short squeeze = legal. Yes, even if you tell your “bros” on Reddit “hey, check this out, this is the perfect set up for a squeeze”
