For an overview of the different topics and contentions of my new book, 'The Idea of the World,' have a look at my Scientific American essays, which try to summarize these topics in an easy-to-digest manner:

This is perhaps my favorite Scientific American article, but one that got relatively little attention. SciAm is completing 175 years in continuous publication this year, the longest run in history! Soon they will be running a new essay by me on Free Will.

This is a brilliant talk by that explains the entanglement of existence/life/awareness with one blind spot-Quantum Biology will never explain life/consciousness.It's a model created in human consciousness

Is it time to move on from Materialism? IAI contributor will join philosopher of science Nancy Cartwright and naturalist Peter Atkins to debate the issue live at HowTheLightGetsIn Hay 2020.

My recently released 'The Idea of the World' is already my best-selling book. Yet, in my own opinion, 'More Than Allegory' is my most important work. So I'm trying to re-introduce you to it. Today, a video introduction to the book:

I'd love to read a one-sentence statement of the core of what illusionism claims. I believe such could be done easily for physicalism, panpsychism, and idealism. The common reply "read this lengthy essay and my contradictory tweets" alone suggests it's not ontology but sophistry.

Does phenomenal experience’s fallibility support an idealist picture of consciousness, or prove that materialism is the better placed to explain why our internal lives seem the way they do? responds to Michael Graziano.

Michael Graziano has clumsily replied to my expose of his eliminativist views. Here is my rejoinder. It baffles me how utterly confused and biased a Princeton neuroscientist can be...

As some of you have seen, Michael Graziano has very clumsily attempted to reply to my criticisms of his position. Very soon my rejoinder is coming (not that it's needed, but it's fun ;-) ). Stay tuned, it will be worth it!
