That David Crowe piece today completely lacked compassion for the sheep (the real victims here!). Some journos are desperate to appear hard-headed, as if acknowledging the appalling animal suffering is a weakness.

Regulate: airconditioning or no live sheep trade. And who knows what happens to sheep survivors after unloading- same or worse than ‘treatment’ of cattle?

Any reasonable, honest person would not disagree with the AVA. The AVA is a very conservative organisation, so it is extremely important the government take their advice seriously. Turnbull is making an absolute fool of himself he thinks people will believe him.

Does that mean that trucks need to decant animals travelling in Australia during Summer if temperature get above a set point?? Should humidity be taken as a factor or not? Sheep have access to water on ships but not in trucks? No sheep boiled
