In virtually every industry I encounter, there are less workers doing more work. (Health, retail, transport, banks) No further productivity gains to be had at that end. Maybe its time the executive salaried proved their productivity. Difficult, when they're mostly at lunch.

I agree, I obviously do not work hard enough and I can prove it. I used to work 45-50 hours/week. I now work 60-70hours/week. It must be me slowing down, no other explanation. Lucky there is no to little wages growth to keep me motivated.

Include land back into cpi and most people have not had a real wage rise in 40 years. Productivity has increased massively.
