Why should industry super be included in this RC, when it outperforms the banks ones, and members are very happy with them? I'm not aware of member complaints about them?

And if it's a real Royal Commission, that'd be a key finding. As soon as I get time for the paperwork I'm changing - BT have been ripping me off for years. Could be worse though, could be Macquarie.

And will they set up the RC to try to discredit the industry funds?
-
How can they discredit them? They tried to discredit the Unions with TURC n that was a fail..theyll only serve to expose the depths of their own malfeasance..Industry Super Rocks

You should have heard
@AlanJones this morning when he railed against industry funds with an agreeable IPA stooge. Their views are toxic but not unexpected. -
I’m failing to see the bad side of industry funds here. I’ve been with one for 20 yrs & my balance is starting to look very healthy indeed. It’s light at the end of the tunnel stuff with 18 yrs till retirement. What’s their angle? Unlikely to find out as I won’t listen to Jones.
-
I too do not see any problem except for their competitors. Jones reckons the unions thru their appointed fund directors are 'stealing workers money'. Tragedy is (1) ppl blve him, and (2) it's an untrue statement. What a bastard?

Thats why this sham of a R C is to have included in its terms of reference an enquiry into management of our Super funds. Turds wants to turn it over to his mates in the Banking sector so they can eat it up with management fees! What will it take for Aussies to rise up?

Union Super Board members making donations to ALP is up there too. The Party that made an industry out of Corporate donations are trying to strangle the ALP of funds.

Fees, life time commissions for referrals from financial planners. Same when mortgage brokers sign up poor defenseless home buyers.
