Same section that orders women to submit to husbands
-
Tell me how many verses are directed to the wife. Then tell me the number directed to the husband. And what the husband responsibilits are
-
Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, - Ephesians 5:25
-
Yes because it's anti Christian to dare to respect women.
-
If you actually look at the passage. You will see 2-3 vs for wives. 9-10 for husbands.
-
Women are ordered to respect their husbands, no matter how vile their behaviour and regardless of whether the husband meets his duties
-
And men a directed to love their wives. No maters how vile their behavior is. That argument works both ways

Don't remember Christ ever endorsing slavery, or women being submissive to husbands. Only his self-serving followers,

I guess you missed the part where Jesus also called to the rich that they should give up their riches. That would include slaves

Whats wrong? You didn't want to share the verses for context? I'll help! Ephesians 6:5-9. Especially see verse 9.
-
Masters, do the same to them, and stop your threatening, knowing that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven...
-
and that there is no partiality with him. - Ephesians 6:9
