If Sydney motorists don't like paying tolls, maybe they'd like to explain to everyone else who should be paying instead for their motorways.

We don't have any tolls in WA. I would object very strongly to the idea of it.

Seriously, NSW have sold all of their public assets and services and the public don’t even flinch. Not to mention all the pokies + homeless

One day in the future you will have to pay to walk out of your gate as all the streets will have been privatized.

you really want increased taxes to fund increased car usage?

I want the government to do its job. Roads included. Tax increases are an occasional necessity that I support. They grow the economy.

no problem with tax increases, but as LA has shown endlessly paving the city with motorways doesn't reduce congestion or create efficiencies

Why do we need more motorways? More public transport is good too.

Sydney is almost globally unique in funding so much of its vital infrastructure via public-private partnership. Fucking ripoff merchants.

totally onboard with tolls on roads Where no public transport option then regular users should be able to get a no. of weekly trips discount
