The only people who like the Sirius building are those lucky enough to live in it who don’t have to look at it.

I like looking at it - drive past every day. Love its lumpen blocks and brutal angles. Part of the whole architectural fabric of Sydney.

Not true unless you're siting in Canberra. This generation of Sydney teenagers even love it and regard it as part of Sydney

Sitting in Canberra and I love that building. Another brutalist masterpiece, like the High Court and NGA.

Glad you think so @maddog2000. You have some beautiful examples in Canberra! Pity others from outside Sydney can't understand it.

I quite like the Sirius, it has a presence, but I intensely dislike those box shaped home renovations appearing in Sydney heritage suburbs.

If that's the criterion then why not take down Blues Point Tower first?

Do you think those incredibly ugly buildings behind the Opera house next to Botanic Gardens ok, because they are filled with rich people?

Have you been to Barangaroo recently - vile towers with red plastic shades? Sirius has style & respect for its heritage & social history.
