@seearjay I was surprised this didn't get a bigger run.

well the traditional Hanson narrative is racism - the extension into blatant misogyny appears to be more recent
-
she justified the murder of women
-
this angers me beyond belief. i had no idea she could actually get worse.

The issue with Fam Law is that it is all grey with each individual's perception of fault & based on emotion. It's tough
-
sure it's tough - unavoidably so. but there's good reason to believe the system is still biased against victims of DV too.
-
Every MP has had these people in front of them. There can never be excuses for DV.
-
I'm sure, & that must be one of the hardest parts of the job. and doesn't help that so much of it is socio-economic in cause
-
On that we agree. Hanson knows exactly what she is saying and to whom. But why let facts get in the way...

Really..? It's pretty much what thousands and thousands of fathers are saying "give us a fair go".
@pwwingman -
endorsing murder huh? lovely.
-
Rubbish - and the kind of attitude that has prevented sensible discussion on these issues. "Women good, Men evil" is puerile.
-
Not rubbish, Robina. If the court is to blame, why do these male creatures kill the mother of their children?

Hanson blames women for their own domestic violence murders. I don't know why this wasn't the main story. It's appalling.

I'm struggling to explain Ms. Hanson to my children who, unfortunately, witnessed her vile speech yesterday.
-
@GaryFallon2@BernardKeane Nobody can explain Pauline Hanson. She defies logic, common sense, empathy & cognitive function. - 1 more reply
