100% with you. People who sit in the right lane doing their speedo's version of the limit can get in the bin.

Too many think a 3 lane road is slow/medium/fast too. If there's nobody in the lane to your left, that spot is for you.
-
I found the Germans the best roadusers. Against law for trucks to use fast lane, many stay out of 250kmph lane.
-
A1 in UK is two lanes, full of huge trucks. Traffic flows because drivers stay left and allow merging.

Exactly how it should be.

@ComplaintStick@benetsc@maureenchuck1 and in NSW it depends on the speed limit whether you have to stay in the left lane -
Bernard not concerned about legality or safety just convenience.
-
have had tailgaters in 60 zone been doing speed limit agree dangerous practice
-
especially when you have nowhere to go.
-
very much so scary and justifying it is atrocious
-
often a form of bullying

@ComplaintStick@benetsc@maureenchuck1 Taught in motorcycle course to slow down when tailgated- bc yr stopping for two. -
Therefore tailgating buys no time.

Serious question: does keeping left have precedence over obeying speed limits?

You have a very one-sided view. Only "endangers" if drivers get too close because they are bullies.
-
You're ignoring all arguments that bullying tailgaters often do so without good cause and/or because they're speeding.
