@echidna_paw my piece focuses on Australia but also draws on US research, which is surprisingly similar -
@bernardkeane That is a shame -- I would have hoped things would have been better over there. -
@echidna_paw no, numbers appear to match up pretty perfectly. at least there are outfits like@DiverseUp who are offering real solutions

@BernardKeane As the mother of a girl with great programming skills and no job, this makes me livid. -

@BernardKeane did you see the graph on women in compsci from the US? Dropped off mid 80s.. -
@NathanLee local data has a cliff-like collapse among Australian women in mid-naughties. now just over a third of 2000 levels. -
@BernardKeane where did you find Australian data? Is there a national uni course enrolments data source?

@stilgherrian thoughts are dangerous in the Innovative Luck Country.@BernardKeane@jsweeney_ibrs -
@paulwallbank@BernardKeane@jsweeney_ibrs This is why I try not to have thoughts. I just type words at random. -
@stilgherrian I haven't had an original thought in 22 years. Hope to get on an ASX20 board in next three years.@BernardKeane@jsweeney_ibrs
