@BernardKeane Same with rererees and umpires calling players by their first names or even nicknames. I guess everyone wants to be a player. -
@MaureenBoller I don't mind that, but umpires/refs should always be called "sir" (not sure what the practice is in sports with female umps) -
@BernardKeane Ref or Ump in my day. Played many sports all my life to district Rep level. Never saw a player abuse a Ref. (Some coaches)
