    If penalty rates are so bad, why has employment in part-time hospitality grown more 13% since 2010 compared to <6% for overall employment?

        @BernardKeane Is that cause hospitality is a seasonal business, & letting fte's go is hard, so employers reduce their risk by hiring casuals

        @ms_ntweeter yep. In fact, last Easter a NSW south coast cafe complained the problem wasn't penalty rates but too much competition.

        @BernardKeane @Pet_Lam Because employers don't want to pay for F/T staff - they'd rather have 6 people on 2-24 hours a week than 3 F/T
