"Is DDoSsing ethical?", is the wrong question IMO. "Am I prepared to be arrested for a DDoS in support of my beliefs?" is more practical.
@OxbloodRuffin if you want to break the law in protest, you have to accept the legal consequences. there's a long honourable history of that
