@BernardKeane My Dad worked as labourer 1920/1965. Never paid#PenaltyRate. Grateful to have a job. Never ever went on strike. Voted#ALP -
@EVERALDATLARGE Good for him. So what? -
@BernardKeane 'So What' is my Dad never dreamed of#PenaltyRates. To feed family he worked whatever hours were needed. Never ran up debts -
@EVERALDATLARGE & what happens when you cut wages (which is what cutting penalty rates does)? look around. lower growth, lower tax revenue. -
@BernardKeane Little justification for#PenaltyRates. No case for exorbitant#ExecutiveSalaries. Prefer fair days work for fair days pay -
@EVERALDATLARGE@BernardKeane I doubt the mother of 3 waitressing on Christmas Day would agree there's little justification for penalties.

@BernardKeane@EVERALDATLARGE deeper issue, if cannot compete in private enterprise then free market forces prevail, so close, let others in -
@broomstick33@BernardKeane@EVERALDATLARGE Of course, managers being hung-over would have nothing to do with it . . .
