What a bitter day this must be for former bank executive Josh Frydenberg, forced to oversee the release of a scathing royal commission report he and his colleagues furiously fought to prevent.

Tellingly he still can’t bring himself to acknowledge that he and his colleagues fought tooth and nail to try to prevent the RC from ever happening and ridiculed those who fought for it. And now claims kudos for calling the RC. Hypocrisy!!

I believe him when he says he will fix the banks. But I do own 4 bridges in Sydney now.

Yeah and look at the results. So far we’ve been shown that greed is good and breaking the law is ok as long as you’re a rich company or work for an insurance company or bank. But if you steal a candy bar from a store you’ll go to jail. Equality, for rich people

Let’s face it though, it is really just “Royal Commission Lite”. This will blow over and the heads of all the bank will all be sleeping soundly tonight. Most of the scrutiny has been along the lines of AMP, and 2nd and 3rd tier executives

It's not the Royal Commissions role to uncover every example of criminality. He needs just enough to show that law enforcement agencies around Australia have completely abandoned their legislated responsibilities & thus assisted an orgy of white collar crime.

Will no-one there ask @JoshFrydenberg the obvious questions about his involvement and personal gain from helping his bank implement a toxic sales culture? Guess not...

And that report only covers the tip of the banking #corruption iceberg. If they kept looking they'd find multiples of what they have so far. Commercial banks ARE organised crime. Commercial banks must be abolished if we want to end these extremes of normalised corruption. #auspol

Not to mention sellout Anna Bligh @ausbanking bet she wished she had stayed with YWCA instead of chasing a rung on the corporate ladder. Shame.

It is delicious to hear the RC attack the greed that animates the corporate sector and their political enablers.

He's a twit. Really, he's offered zero policy, but instead pretended to be concerned about Aust's economic future. Really.
