Why don't you target dickheads sitting on the speed limit in the right hand lane and blocking other motorists rather than sensible drivers looking to overtake and let others pass too?https://twitter.com/PSyvret/status/1043754755485360128 …

I pass around 5 daily on my 30min commute to Bega on the dangerously narrow and aged Princes Hwy, usually at top speed of 70kms - should be made to travel between 1-5am.....

Try the Queensland coast roads. There will be a major incident very soon involving trucks caravans as trucks undertaking commerce are trapped behind caravans doing 80km. Hardly any overtaking lanes for long distances up here.

I've been watching caravans on our roads since I could see over the front seat in 62. They've gotten a little longer than what I remember but thats about the only change.
-
You haven't looked too closely then

To clarify then. In 56 years on Australian roads, 49 as a driver, I have always found caravans to be a nightmare on the roads, and more so during holiday periods.
-
Well yeah, won't argue with that

Wondering why caravan owners are required to pass the incompetent driver test before being permitted on the road with their new purchase

Having never tried to tow anything bigger than a box trailer hooked up to the back of a Camry.
-
& so didn't learn to put all the weight behind the axle? or slowing down by braking sharply when the trailer wobbles?

They should be permitted on public highways only between midnight and 5:00 am, imho.
