The Parliamentary Library paper that showed @GregHuntMP was lying about accces to health records has been put back online, almost completely neutered. What a disgrace. https://www.aph.gov.au/About_Parliament/Parliamentary_Departments/Parliamentary_Library/FlagPost/2018/July/Law_enforcement_access_to_MHR_data …

Frank and fearless advice by an independent and non partisan organisation? Hardly. The Parliamentary Library 'was' well respected by all sides of politics. Presumably papers are checked before release. What would lead to this rewrite. Smacks of political interference.

Political pressure just like with Emma Alberici. Fear of funding retribution. Qld Police said exactly same thing about right if police to access today!

Political pressure or perhaps just 'weak' management. The @ParlLibrary operates under a different act to APS working for the parliament, not the government. One would hope that management did not cower to the minister or the party when they should be working for all members.

What a sham minister is @GregHuntMP in a sham government under @TurnbullMalcolm. Parliamentary research has always been of the highest quality & forcing it to chop out embarrassing truths is scandalous.

Library have still maintained key distinction between Hunt's reliance on policy and the legislative reality that enables no warrants, "My Health Records Act 2012 does not mandate this, and it does not appear that the ADHA’s operating policy is supported by any rule or regulation"
