Fortunately, by the feedback, it appears that you have more cyclists and reasonable followers than the intolerant haters. So why do you pander in a tweet like this to the bigots? @BicyclingAust @AusCycle @icycleivote @SafeCyclingOz @Cycliq @gcntweet

Every time someone does something stupid in a car, we don't hold everyone who drives to account either.
-
Telling me, as a cyclist, that I’m responsible for someone on a bike running a red in another country, is the same as telling me, as a motorist, that I’m responsible for some unlicensed, uninsured meth-head crashing his unregistered car... Hater “logic”...

Ah, I see you just threw your bigotry out there and chose to ignore the feedback.

SOME cyclists. What happened to the reasonable Bernard Keane?

Most of the cyclists overtook, on the other side. That was a fckwit who collided with the horse.

Own it
@BernardKeane, you are a bigot. By blaming an entire group on the actions of a minority, you are giving fodder for those inciting random violence towards cyclists. Would you have called out a race or religion for the actions of a few? Then why cyclists in Australia? Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@BernardKeane A single word, condemning all cyclists is lazy and unwarranted. It didn't happen in Australia, it was on a race (though no notification given to others) so the trailing cyclist probably had poor vision and not expecting the horse.Thanks. Drove through centennial park a few weeks back, on a Saturday morning. They were doing at least 70km/h in a loose pack, and passed me on both sides, just like in the clip. I watched in horror as they proceeded to monster a parent and his kid out for an early morning ride.
-
Only 70 km/h? Most cyclists routinely intimidate other road users by riding their huge machines at over 100 km/h. Oh sorry, that's motorists...
#ActiveTransport -
It is a 30 zone.
-
I know. You don't think you might be exaggerating ever so slightly, do you?
-
10 dickheads in lycra, going full tilt down a hill. How fast you think they can go? If you want to ride dangerously around vehicles, its your life; I don’t care. Don’t do it around families and kids though. The park isn’t a racetrack.
-
Maybe the park would be a better place with fewer dickheads driving cars in it, endangering all the vulnerable park users, and exaggerating the threat from people using sub-10kg vehicles.

Yeah, fancy a family driving through a public road to park in a public car park, inside a public park, right? The hide of them. The park should clearly be for the sole and exclusive use of lycra clad pricks with a massive sense of entitlement to treat it as a private track.
-
70? Yep, sure.
