It’s like they’re oblivious to the demographic that relies on the ABC
-
In their minds LNP voters dont watch it so its not needed!
-
They plan to keep Regional ABC for “their” rural votes but sell urban ABC

And in the case of Centrelink you sack frontline staff and then outsource call centres to Serco. The thin end of the wedge.pic.twitter.com/JUw1ROE9Z1

Plus Fifield & Turnbull have both overridden the reccos of panel appointed to shortlist Board appointments, by imposing their own choice, not recommended. Commonly known as stacking. And their endless liss of complaints about staff.

Murdoch's doesn't want the ABC. He just wants it out of the way and neutralised so he gets rid of the competition. He's been working to get rid of the ABC & BBC for decades.
-
thankfully he is not long for this world.

Yes but Lachlan and James, not to mention Elizabeth are following.
-
Do you think they might change the path Fox News is on? I thought Lachlan might be a bit different. Not sure about James and know nothing about Elizabeth.
-
Nope. I had high hopes for Lachlan too but I've heard he's now become a clone of his father. Fox News won't change until they lose viewers. Elizabeth very smart runs her own business.

Also most liberals love the ABC. In fact the majority of ABC viewers are Liberals. It's just the young fascists/liberals that want the ABC gone.
-
No, it's an IPA goal - On Rupert Murdochs wish list. ABC is competition for him.

This is so upsetting and worrying. We’re intent on not being the best version of ourselves. How does someone even come up with such an abhorrent idea.
-
"We're intent on not being the best version of ourselves" - I don't know if they are your words, but they perfectly sum up current politics. It seems regression to the mean and nasty is de rigueur.
