Labor managed to invent "Mediscare" out of an innocuous need to update Human Services' shit IT system. What will they do with an actual endorsed Liberal policy to flog the ABC "to a media mogul"?

Yeah, 'cos the Libs have never wanted to harm Medicare in any way.

The LNP has harmed Medicare in practice. My local medical centre bulk billed everyone. Because Medicare payment to doctors has been kept so low, since 1 January they only bulk bill people on pensions or with health care cards

Same here in St Helens..and all bar one of the doctors are leaving because it’s not worth their while staying here. So Trumble is destroying the public health system across Oz in a devastating way and MSM say SFA..

Pfft, it was #LNP that labeled THEIR privitisation attempts of #Medicare as 'Mediscare'!! Certainly Medicare needed IT upgrade but why not engage #Australian IT experts? Provide #Jobs? No brainer #Labor will #saveourabc. #VoteLabor say NO to #LNPFAIL #IPA #Murdochracy #auspol

The Libs called it "Mediscare". But voters were fully aware of all the Libs efforts to weaken Medicare. So it cannot be called a scare campaign. Voters knew.

The Liberal Party of recent years has completely misread the important part the ABC plays in so many people's lives. Like Workchoices, their ideological stupid will be their downfall.

Listen up Bernard ... if you think Labor’s ‘Medicare’ campaign did not stop further damage being meted out to OUR health care system, you are not paying attention. Try going to a doctor in Tasmania.Just paid an upfront fee of $89 for a first visit.Bugger the poor #auspol

The problem is to get the electorate to care about the loss of the public broadcaster. May well be a case of 'you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone'. Terrifying.
