I can’t tell the difference between a news program & an opinion show. The line separating the 2 used to be bright red; now its fuzzy & gray.

I'd say there's no line. Even 'hard news' can be biased through story selection, which happens routinely at NPR. Hunter Thompson had a point

Media became a bell curve, but there's no one in the middle. For every Maddow, you have a Hannity, and the list goes on and on ...

It's simple. The news shows are opinions pretending to be news and the opinion shows are party lines pretending to be opinions...!

Such as, it’s our opinion a certain POTUS was born in Africa? Vaguely recall that opinion leaking out a few times from your friends at Fox.

Or the diff between news and late night comedy. Most are looking to Colbert and Kimmel as credible news sources. #scary

It might be that there aren't any news shows left. Remember when headline news was all news and no opinion?

Don't you think Trump bares some of that burden?? A President "used to be" measured, honest, and a role model for future generations?

This fuzzy gray difference is one reason viewership is down. Thinking people look for reliable content and easily spot opinion.
