    lecturers at the university of california are out of contract as of last friday; mgmt didn't bother to show up to bargaining until 2 in the afternoon on expiration day😒!! rally with our sibling unionists at NOON at BRUIN PLAZA TODAY 👊!!

    wanna do something to support our peers @ private universities (even though all education should be public??) who haven’t unionized yet? Go to the NLRB website let them know WE ARE WORKERS (or in less class conscious terms “yes,in fact,we are employees”)

    Breaking: The has extended the comment period on their anti-grad union rule AGAIN, citing "the large number of initial comments received"! We now have til Feb 28 to submit response comments. Thousands of grads are saying , and the Trump admin can't keep up!

    There are still 13 UC students from Iran who cannot take their place on our campuses! THIS is the solidarity across unions and sectors that will make us win

    The lengths administrations will go to in order to maintain the fiction that graduate students aren't workers is actually shocking.

    Very perturbed to find out has retroactively enrolled me in pedagogy classes—and assigned me grades—for quarters that I was teaching nearly two years ago.

    with no signs of affordable housing in sight, today our leadership let UC know that we need to bargain over our cost of living immediately. we can’t wait for our next contract !

    The housing crisis is real, and it is not letting up. Today we sent a letter to UC saying that its growing impact on workers necessitates immediate bargaining over cost of living and compensation issues. You can read the full letter here.
