This is basically what happened, to a much more extreme degree, with Trump. Party establishment overwhelmingly opposed him, some never got on board, but ordinary R voters did not see it the same way and rebelled against last-ditch efforts to stop him.

There's no way the election is treated as over just after Iowa and New Hampshire, regardless of who wins. There's no money to be had in covering a one-person race.

Last time I voted for him in the primary. This time I'm voting for Warren and spouse is probably voting for Klobuchar. In general , of course whatever Democrat.
-
I'm in this line. I won't vote for him again.

I personally prefer Warren but would be ecstatic if Sanders ended up the nominee too.

There’d be pressure after IA/NH in that scenario for all of the moderate-ish candidates but one to drop out and have the remaining moderate candidate consolidate all of the moderate-ish support. So Bernie would likely still have to slog thru the primary calendar.

In the recent CNN poll, Bernie does the best with non-white voters. He won't win South Carolina, but 2nd place there is fine for him.

I don't think the numbers hold up very well after Iowa and NH. I would expect him to do well in NH because he's well-known there. Biden still has a 20+ pt lead in SC.

You’re right about SC, but I think you’re forgetting about Nevada and many Super Tuesday states that are already likely to break for him; CA, UT, CO, MN, VT, MA*, ME
