4,200+ user reviews isn't some small amount of data It is statistically very significant If word of mouth was as heavily mixed as some say it wouldn't be sitting at 5 stars still

I think word of mouth is much stronger for Death Stranding than some think With 4,200+ reviews on PSN it's still at 5 stars. I've also talked to GameStop contacts and was told low amount of quick trade ins as well Things like Metacritic user score aren't an accurate reflectionpic.twitter.com/UA1QAC3be4

I talk to people from GameStop all the time, from all across the country Games with very polarizing or negative reactions usually see quoc and rapid trade ins I've been told this isnt the case at all with Death Stranding

Main reason the PSN user reviews are more statistically useful data? You have to actually purchase the game in order to give it a rating Places like Metacritic can easily he review bombed as no purchase is necessary

Metacritic user score can never be trusted on games that have deals with Sony or Microsoft, because people are just gonna hate on it no matter how good the game is. It's sad, but that's how it is.

When metacritic requires you to log in with your PSN/Xbox/Steam Profile and check out that you have certain achievements/trophies/hours played, then the scores there posted will be relevant, until then, it's just haters vs fanboys who haven't played the game giving 0 and 10.
