    It seems clear to me that iOS is moving strongly towards a cloud-by-default world where the local storage is little more than a cache.

    Yep. Frustrating.

    Even on an older iPad (with no split-screen capability), the slide-up Dock is a game changer. Infinitely faster than using the home button.

    The slightly-larger keys on the 10.5" cover are much nicer. But it's still covered in that same cheap vinyl material.
