    Really happy to see methodology used to reveal these practices. Baffled to see councils' lack care for their users' privacy and security. Still waiting for the to make a meaningful move against this industry. Excellent work !

    I had missed this excellent thread exposing how websites stores cookies even when you explicitely refuse. Consent mechanism to share personal is already problematic enough, yet for some website it's litteraly just a sham.

    [THREAD] and directive require for tracking. EU websites rely on IAB banner providers to implement consent, but what happens behind the cookie banner interface? Our study finds 54% of them are non-compliant. (1/11)

    Second favourite thing (not): how 90% of the booth at have a young female to sell whatever product there is to sell while only 10% of the audience (at best) is female. At least a some speakers were female, its something.
