US conservatives use case of terminally ill child Alfie Evans to criticize NHS

Right. "US Republicans Pounce" is the real story here. Not the NHS preventing Alfie's parents from seeking treatment elsewhere for their dying child. Politicians highlighting the horror show that you've got running over there is what's important to your readers.

It's like they're outraged that a toddler is being suffocated and starved to death. The nerve....

Yeah the kid that been alive for nearly 2 days longer the doctors said he would. They starved him for 15 hours, oh and he is a citizen of another nation

It's not just that NHS will not treat him. UK will not allow ANYONE to treat him.

Yeah this is the real problem here. Should they decide he’s terminal and no treatment they provide would work, ok fine. If the parents want to seek treatment elsewhere they should be allowed to do so.

So, only conservatives care that the STATE can tell PARENTS that they can't seek treatment, or palliative care, for their child?
Why should that be a "conservative" issue?
ALL parents should be outraged.

“Alfie’s government deciding for him and his family to leave him for dead has captured the attention of American conservatives.”
What world is this? Who doesn’t find this disgusting?

Do you guys get bonuses for doing "conservatives pounce!" posts, or is it something written into your contracts?

It's a bonus written into their contracts. That and defend the NHS at any and all costs...
