Every time I see 's finding, I am struck again: Higher minimum wages for nursing home workers *reduce patient mortality.* They also improve intermediate health outcomes: fewer pressure ulcers (a major issue in nursing homes), fewer health inspection violations.

Ironically the hawks are now the ones making 'look through transitory.' Which is fair! But let's look at the basket of prices the Cleveland Fed uses for Median CPI and its density. There was a big broadening of price increases in 2022 - but that is now reverting. This is real./6

Consumer Reports scientists recently measured the amount of heavy metals in 28 dark chocolate bars. They detected cadmium and lead in all of them... For 23 of the bars, eating just 1 oz a day would put an adult over a potentially harmful level of lead.
