Comparative cakes is a personal favorite along silly tennis topics…will never forget the disparity in cakes that the Miami Open gave Murray and Hewitt for landmark wins.

It is so, so clear that American men are too emotionally damaged to be trusted to own guns.

Horrible news from Long Island: one of the boys killed was Drew Hassenbein, a highly-ranked young player who was chosen to perform the coin toss between Djokovic and Medvedev before the 2021 US Open men’s final.

So, so excited for and proud of my wonderfully talented buddy Wiwi whose incredible memoir comes out a week from today, and which you should definitely pre-order. (His video dispatches from Liverpool this week have also been a *delight* as I work on finishing my own manuscript.)

In a time of instability in tennis, 20 semifinals in 2.5 seasons is seriously, seriously impressive, no matter what happens once you get there.

NEW: It's our 300th and, at long last: "SERENA" This episode finally gave us closure, helped out by the eleventh hour announcement of her pregnancy (literally while we were recording last night) What a privilege it is to celebrate the GOAT with you all.

Because of his vaccine refusal, Djokovic missed the 2022 Australian Open, 2022 Indian Wells, 2022 Miami Open, 2022 Canadian Open, 2022 Cincinnati Masters, 2022 US Open, 2023 Indian Wells, and 2023 Miami Open. This was a very dumb saga and I'm glad this is (hopefully) its end.

The best part of this is that Giannis was about to go into the “arena” thing and stopped himself because it’s too easy and he’s way too smart for that. And you can criticize the question all you want, but it elicited an amazing response.

It’s less about the answer and more about the question to me. It’s not well thought of and very absentminded to ask this question. Unless you’ve been in the arena you don’t get it and Giannis just exposed a lot of it with his answer. 👊🏼💪🏼
