Highly efficient way to internalize a complex non-fiction book: -Read on Kindle. -Highlight heavily. -Export highlights. -Edit down to core insights. -5-10 minutes of reading. -Keep that in cloud. Can pull this up on any device and quickly recall my core takeaways.

I use Evernote, but only because I've been using it for a long time. I'm sure there are plenty of good alternatives.pic.twitter.com/hTIaVkR0gC

I'm doing the same in Evernote. I love how Derek
@Sivers shares and organizes his notes: https://sivers.org/book - I'm working on publishing my notes similarly in the near future…1 reply 1 retweet 27 likes -

Derek's site is great. I read Mindwise due to his endorsement. The book Au Contraire about French culture was another great recommendation from him.

I've tried EverNote and OneNote. The latter lets you organise into multi level hierarchies. Useful for writing large chapters.pic.twitter.com/zIjLzVvSCF

cool! How did you generate that hierarchy? Additional plugins needed?

No plugins. They're just called 'Sections' and 'Section Groups'.
