I think you don't understand how box office works because
#GhostInTheShell will need between $250M - $300M worldwide to break even -
The movie cost $110 million, they pumped a ton into advertising which is part of P&A (print and advertising). I saw $80 million thrown...

Around for that on r/boxoffice. So that's $190 million. Studios tend to get half of the worldwide gross, so double the budget and $380 Mil.

Oh and in China, unless it's a Chinese co-production, you get only 1/4 of the gross there.

I'd be amazed if it even could reach $300 million, and China will not be enough to put the movie in the black even if it's a hit there.
