    Waiting for the next crypto bull run right now may be like waiting for the next “dot com” bull run in 2002. One never came, but then one day a couple decades later we woke up to realize the internet had infiltrated & reshaped every crevice of media, politics, business & culture.

    FWIW this is an area where I think Ethereans should consider doing some evangelization. Niche digital communities, full of people who are very online, might be eager for a way to fund public goods in their communities. They just don’t know anything about Ethereum or DAOs.

    There’s a way to think about DAOs, even the rudimentary donation-only ones we have now, that’s more powerful than people realize: capital coordination for global, digital affinity groups. Or, more simply: “The treasury for your subreddit”

    Why are DAOs important? One final argument. Go!

    After many years of cryptocurrency research, my conclusion is that even if you become a top 1% researcher in this space, there's still so much you don't know, don't understand or just haven't learned the true nuances of, and you're still completely wrong about almost everything.

    MetaMask plug-ins are going to be a huge thing this year. I expect to see a ton of experimentation and real cool stuff built with them.

    I made a plugin that can be used to sign zkRollup transactions for exchanges built on in the same way (or even better than) Ethereum transactions are signed. We're eagerly awaiting the release of MetaMask's awesome plugin system so we can start using it!

    A neat humanitarian benefit of cryptocurrencies is that it allows unbanked entities to accept donations worldwide and cash them out into local currency when needed. If I was an outsider, learning how to achieve this goal with bitcoin would probably be quite the disappointment:
